Principal’s Message

My experience as an educator began thirty four years ago as an elementary teacher at Loyola School. After several years, I was promoted to Assistant Principal while continuing to teach. Due to my love of the Catholic education system, I began working at St. Agatha School (1984-1996), where I was the first lay teacher. I began teaching the first grade, and three years later I was appointed Assistant Principal. During 1996, I transferred to St. Brendan Elementary School where I served as Assistant Principal (1996-2004). My educational background consists of a Bachelors of Arts from St. Thomas University, and I have completed several subjects at the graduate level. I hold Professional Teacher's Certificates in Elementary Education and Spanish. Currently, I am taking courses in School Administration in order to obtain my Masters Degree.

I accepted to work with Father Jose M. Paz as principal of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic School. This position will allow me to be part of a school that for many years has helped to create and maintain the Christian values in our community. I believe that St. Michael the Archangel is able to form students based in high academic standards, sports, and extracurricular activities.

I believe in promoting Catholic and bilingual education as an integral part of the moral value of our children.

My philosophy is to have a candid relationship between the children, parents, and teachers, always having my door open to all who need my advice and guidance.

May the Lord bless you always.
